Over 46 kilometres of craggy terrain with a total ascent of approximately 3500 metres at its peak at Tugela Falls (arguably the highest waterfall on the planet). The Drakensberg is the eastern portion of the Great Escarpment, which encloses the central Southern African plateau. The Great Escarpment reaches its greatest elevation within the border region of South Africa and Lesotho and its absolutely breathtaking!

I have travelled to Vietnam six times over the last ten years and even knowing the little amount I do about their history and in many ways the heartache and tragedies many Vietnamese have suffered I have always been blown away by their welcoming and open- hearted acceptance of outsiders visiting their homeland.
