What a year it’s been! 2025 has been jam-packed with incredible journeys, and I’m gearing up to finish it on a massive high. First up: back-to-back African sojourns. Then, to wrap the season in style — Sri Lanka and a few luscious days at Hard Rock Maldives: sunshine, turquoise waters, and yes… a cocktail (or three) with your toes in the sand.
Good news: I still have a few last-minute spots open for this final trip. Sri Lanka remains wonderfully unspoilt — every time I go, I discover more magic. And with the Maldives as the cherry on top, this all-inclusive escape is pure indulgence. If you’re the kind of person who loves a spur-of-the-moment treat, this is your trip. Quick updates for the Travellingguy family
- Africa 2025 is officially sold out, and April 2026 is already gone too. But I’m taking expressions of interest now for September and October 2026. Two different routes: one through South Africa, Tanzania & Kenya; the other through the “Four Corners” (Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe & Botswana) — plus a stay at the legendary Sabi Sabi! A trip of a lifetime.
- Vietnam & Cambodia 2026: Our first departure is January 19th, the perfect time when the heat is kind but the colours are dazzling. Expect culture, landscapes, local life, and food that will rock your taste buds. 8 spots left.
- Japan 2026: The Golden Route spectacular! Tokyo, Mt Fuji, Hakone, Kanazawa, Osaka, and Kyoto — all by Japan’s world-class rail system. This one’s capped at 14 people, and 4 seats are already taken. If Japan’s calling, don’t wait.
